Should anyone care? 6 October, 2010 at 1:23 pm #7247 StephenParticipant He was doing the same experiments as the alleged discoverers 4 or 5 years before they were. It’s all on record and I think he even registered a trademark / patent regarding it. He’s a hero! But no, no one should care as he’s long dead 6 October, 2010 at 1:29 pm #7249 TimKeymaster Yeah, maybe, but he didn’t come up with an actual clinical use – like what Banting et al came up with. Therefore he’s an old fraud 6 October, 2010 at 1:31 pm #7252 AnonymousInactive Never heard of him. I credit the dog used though. 6 October, 2010 at 1:33 pm #7253 TimKeymaster The dog that lasted the longest in the early experimental days was called Marjorie and became a bit of a lab pet – until it died. 7 October, 2010 at 5:33 am #7262 Hairy GnomeParticipant Don’t know. Don’t care, but bloody glad it happened! 7 October, 2010 at 8:08 am #7263 TimKeymaster Well quite, Terry! 8 October, 2010 at 10:59 am #7274 Neville the NewshoundKeymaster @tim – just as well you can’t libel dead people, eh?
