Cheers @mikeinspain – I can’t justify the regular ones at the moment let alone find any extra for the new ones.
I am seeing my DSN this afternoon for other stuff, I suppose I could always try flirting and see […]

I don’t mean sensor, I mean transmitter π

@alison – can you get hold of a price for them? Also, do they use the old sensor, or do I need to fork out silly money for a new “starter kit?”

I never used them out of principle, far too much waste!

I think I agree with you on all the above, square wave I’ve not played with yet.
Mildly shocked it’s been 4 months, already feels like second nature now π

I download mine regular, but I’m just like that π Reams of diabetic history on the bookcase ….. granted I’ve been a lot more committed since the pump as that’s my portable logbook nowadays (compared to days of just downloading the blood results and having to enter the rest manually …….) π Though I still […]

Sounds to me like you’re more than ready for it – the work generally is no harder than injecting. The only new bit is sorting out your basal rate that can be changed from hour to hour. The more you put into it (fasting BGs over 6 or 8 hours at a time to establish […]

If you have got a CGM: are you pleased with it ? : I’m not as enthused as @alison, but when it works it rocks! how easy/difficult is it to use ? : Piece of p… π would you be parted from it ? : Yes, in fact I’m on a break from it at the […]

That could be it, though if they were referring to total length that could be the difference. Maybe the new one is 10.5 but doesn’t have that large bit that doesn’t go in. Kind of like the infusion sets?
Slightly misleading, but could be true never the less π

Where does the 13mm figure come from? My introducer needles are a LOT bigger than 13mm?

Pumps are the future, all those losers injecting are soooooooooooooo yesterday π
Looking forward to more info on the new CGM, I don’t think it’s an over exaggeration regarding the needle though, and it goes about 1cm/s in. I swear you can watch in real time as it plunges into your flesh π

I’ve got an icegems too and I have to say I found them to be reasonable, especially with the much higher costs of a boring steel/silver SOS.
