Now whether this affects the UK/Europe market, I can not say but I would certainly suggest getting in touch with Roche/Accu-chek directly or DSN/HCP as soon as possible to clarify and hopefully provide some reassurance.
haha… not quite what to make of that comparison. would like to think my looks score a point over her, but won’t say to too much due to her birth place.. end up with a glasgow kiss! ???
Yes I have had this bloody problem and yes I’ve told the stupid people and all they said was speak to your health professionals!! What annoys me is that yes it buggers up your HbA1c and no one from said company has emailed me of the recall!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you oh great 1 Mike. All Hail Mike supreme informer. Thank God for Shoot up or Put Up!
Luckily, I’ve not moved over to the new version, I still (successfully) use the original Flexlink. A bit of a bummer that they cant tell those people they send the faulty ones out to, I think!
If you’re an Accu-Chek customer, a letter about this should be arriving on your doorstep in the next couple of days. Roche wanted to “manage” this news via the docs and nurses first, to try to avoid panic. Also bear in mind that it is a voluntary recall, even if this is not explicit. If you’re doing ok with your supply of FlexLink Plus then you can choose not to return them.
