InactiveSome time ago I entered the Diabetes UK comp to win myself a blood test meter ,,, It all went quiet until one morning i was unlucky enough to recieve a letter saying how sorry Bayer were that i didnt win the competition : ( BUT heres a meter anyway !! I realise the meters are worth nothing and they just want to shift bucket loads of strips out but as a spare for free ! cant knock that too much : )
heres the link – seems they may be plenty to go round ?

TimKeymasterThey’re fairly awful meters, so no wonder they’re giving them away!
I even reviewed it here: -

InactiveDespite asking Tim to review the Contour USB freebie he got, I couldn’t wait and went ahead and got one.. I have to say, I love it! Very gadgety and small, no faults so far.. it was a bit difficult to sort out the software download, but got it in the end and it’s all working happily – I’d recommend it (if anyone trusts little old me!)

CecileParticipantI’m gangrenously green with envy, because I’m not part of Bayer’s Northern Hemispheric conspiracy. If you ( @tim) are unwilling to adopt your given USBaby, send it south via stork (they nest in the marshes just out of town). My first meter was a freebie-Bayer I got from a doctor-friend; couldn’t use it very long, ’cause the strips were too expensive…but at my last visit to the metropolitan pharmacy I frequent, Bayer Contour strips were the cheapest on the block, so Gimme, gimme, gimme!

If so, good – I do need to pull my finger out, I’ve got a whole bunch sitting here waiting to be done.
