Only? I didn’t know it was Teflon. It breaks down into some pretty unpleasant chemicals. It kills birds when heated (despite the manufacturers claims, to quite low levels – they tried Teflon coated bulbs for birds and realised when they all died that the Teflon coating was poisoning the birds). It has NOT been shown to be harmless to humans.
