    What a fantastic achievement. Really well done.

    There are some events where I think I’d love to do it. Cycling over those roads in hot weather is certainly not one of them!

    Hurrah! Great job, well done. Remind me never to borrow a 2nd hand Roman costume from either of you, after what they’ve been through they can probably stand up on their own

    I suspect in Roman times those costumes would be worth a fortune once they had dried out – all that crispy goodness to scrape into the salarium.
