Talking between devices from all manufacturers would be my dream. Being able to freely mix and match pumps, pens, CGMs, meters and phones would be fantastic.

Let’s see who’s still around!
Starting things off with a tech post.
I’m now running a 670G with CGM which I’m ‘fortunate’ to need and get funding for. Up to last July I had my old trusty Veo and self-funded Libre.
Also in our house we have another one of our gang with MDI and NHS Libre.
What’s everyone else running nowadays?

I may vote three times as I reckon one time out of three I adopt the cross fingers and ignore it treatment.

Welcome back! FPs are gone for me now too but more because of me sulking over their consistency change.
I do hope the joint videos will return. Even if location is a problem a split screen Skype call would do π

Wow! You’ve been found by one too?
I’m just waiting to see that payment for the cost of delivery of my gold has arrived and then I’ll be looking for some new property in Cheshire to invest in.

Jeez! Too many staff. This rapid expansion will be followed by dogs and polecats having to leave the building carrying boxes with photos of their puppies and polekittens in them; distraught at having to find […]

I love numbers, graphs and other people’s vastly different usage.
I love this thread! Tim, your profile has to be the most pump suited.
Mine’s fairly flat but it works for me (sometimes):
Average basal […]

Will Nugent be as ‘active’ as previous poll posters. From memory the word month was not to be taken too literally.

And they are at serious risk of DKA. It’s always suspended when there’s a sensor in the photo.

Same. It’s a disgrace how slow Medtronic are at posting out replacement parts.
I shall now go and troll them relentlessly for their shoddy service.

Sadly it’s a OS X 10.9 problem. 10.8 and below worked OK after ignoring the warnings and tweaking a few things but 10.9 has broken the dodges. Medtronic have told me the delay is that they have to pass any […]

Absolutely. But call it that. The parents of newly diagnosed kids will cling to headlines like this just like mine did three and a half cures ago!
Artificial Pancreas is definitely realistically achievable even though new technology including insulin needs to come first.
Oh, and getting NHS funding π

Two things…..
1: 10 years – LOL. And lots of LOLs. Always 10 years.
2: “Cure” – that’s not a cure, it’s a new form of treatment (artificial pancreas) that is being developed around the world. Cure for me means no need to add insulin or gadgets to my body.I love developments in treatments and welcome every tiny bit of progress but…[Read more]

I’m imagining the lens would give me something like this http://media.gizmodo.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/terminator_vision.jpg showing BG and a trend arrow.
Can’t be that hard.
Shirley?

+1 for the wonderfullness of the care events.
Any opportunity to mix with people your age who just sort of ‘get it’ has to be a good thing. And raging hormones for the teenaged events adds to the fun π
