      Not bad here – had a hypo on Boxing Day morning but that’s been about it. Might go and have some gin and a mince pie! Woot!

      Hi guys… Yes all good here at least not fighting off the swine flu and Pneumonia like last year (time flies thankfully) Just off to walk on the beach with the dog and if timed just right will be able to enjoy the iced mince pie with sherry (xmas tipple) without any worries. Have a fab New Year one and all. xx

      Ahhh a hypo seems a distant dream right now ;) After three days of eating high-carb meals and high-carb snacks, and fighting off high blood sugars at 3am, I’m going to go a bit more low-key on the eating, I think :P

      My fiancee had something very similar to you Martyn. She’s getting back on track now but there were some moments when she was up to 17.

      I think that this cold I have might have something to do with it… nothing’s helped, changing infusion sets and using new vials of insulin, so I’m resigned to a 150% temporary basal rate overnight till I feel better/ go hypo :D
