      This fills one with confidence:

A medical tribunal has heard how a doctor prescribed “enough insulin for an elephant” to an elderly woman at an Edinburgh hospital.

Dr Lucy Mahinda admitted writing an entry for a “lethal” dose of insulin, which was nearly 10 times the correct amount, at Western General Hospital.

Of course, the trouble with diabetic elephants is that they are all terrified of diabetic mice and their now mythic capacity for getting cured.

Ha ha ha! Yes! Relevant article: http://www.shootuporputup.co.uk/2011/11/i-wish-i-was-a-diabetic-mouse/ (I’ve just re-read the comments on that article. They’re brilliant and have absolutely nothing to do with the article’s contents!)
