Ah good luck with your name deliberations. I suspect mine was largely to do with being a victim of a 70s childhood… Perhaps because I’d seen pumps referred to as ‘robot parts’ here and there. It struck me that for 20 odd years I’d been using injections as Replacement to Pancreas #1, which made my pump a sort of Replacement to Pancreas #2 (R2-P2). The fact that Artoo frequently makes little plaintive beeping noises is just a bit of a bonus
