@Victoria – As I’m sure you know, most pens will only deliver 60 units at a time, hence my 60 units of preprandial Novo-Rapid every time I eat anything. However, I was recently introduced to the Sanofi Aventis OptiClik which will deliver up to 80 units of Lantus, but as a cartridge only holds 300 units I inject 2 x 75 units every night which limits the number of injections I have to make. To make up the deficiencies in the system, I’m just a bit careful about what, and how much, I eat.
