Never had any festering wounds, even prior to diagnosis when I must’ve been camping out in the plus 10s for more than a year. If you’ve managed to maintain HbA1cs of 5-7 since diagnosis, diabetes can’t be blamed…lately I’ve had a few nips on my hand that have gone a bit manky, but a waning thyroid gland (&rate at which new keratin is formed) can be held responsible.
