I was diagnosed three months after I started going out with @katie and we’re now wedded – so I’ve never actually been out on a date as a diabetic.
I would take all your kit and check as normal – I might spend a quick five minutes telling her about diabetes and how it doesn’t actually make all that much difference to anything and then forget about it for the rest of the evening.
Anyway, that aside – good luck! Knock her dead! (Metaphorically, not literally).
