To kick off, if it’s any comfort, I took about three months to get my pump settings right. For quite a lot of those three months I was very, very close to throwing the damned thing out of a high window! But after a load of work, I got there eventually.
After five years of MDI I felt that I had to completely re-learn my diabetes – all the assumptions I had made re: injections didn’t work with the pump. Very frustrating!
