) I agree with your point – if you don’t eat carbs you don’t need insulin. As you know, this was the “cure” for diabetes before insulin was discovered cf. the Fred Allen diet (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frederick_Madison_Allen)
Anyway, I would have expected better of the BBC. …licence fee payer, mutter mutter mutter, disgusted of Tunbridge Wells, etc. etc.
