Don’t know about Collip, but lets face it, ‘everyone’ knows insulin was discovered by Banting and Best. Very few non-diabetics would know who Macleod was. So as they all actually got the money anyway, and Best got way more fame than Macleod, really its only Collip has been hard done by. (Oh, and maybe Paulescu. See, I did read it!)
