Good one!! 🙂 I find I have more stability with cheapy “own” branded beers over here compared with the major beer companies which make me go high quite quickly and frankly seems to just stay there…
If anyone’s interested the blue guff we both refuse to drink is some Blue Bols which I found at the back of a cupboard. I think it was left there after our housewarming party three years ago… It smelt rank!
Well, yes. I do find, high, then low in the early morning, and sometimes into the morning as well. Oh, but I love alcohol. Yes, sireeee. Don’t know why love of alcohol should turn you into an American, but apparently, it can happen.
Port, red wine, cider, Champagne, beer, anything really.

@lizz: Oh, you standardx2 hussy! You growl at insulin preservative, but you welcome acetaldehyde (an alcohol metabolite) with open arms&maw 😉
Is that in organic wine, beer etc? Because I don’t just drink any old wine, beer etc you know, or is it from ALL alcohol?
And actually, I try not to keep my arms open when drinking as I tend to miss my open maw.
You’ve got me worried now. I am probably an acetaldehyde factory, although it’s not being injected continuously at least, I have 5 days off a week!
Any sip containing ethanol pass through being acetaldehyde, no matter if it’s papsak or posh stuff…(or so says your nutty Prof.Nutt)
Haven’t you ever needed open arms to drink from your barrel (when it was beer) and vat (when it was wine)? 😀
