      Hello! Nothing to do with diabetes, but if you could spare five minutes to fill out a quick survey about handbags and stuff that would be grand. (Blokes can still do said survey as they could (and should!) buy handbags for wives / girlfriends, etc.)

      This is all related to my wife’s wonderful business, so any feedback is very helpful for her. Anyway, you’ll need to have a quick squiz at her website – http://www.stripykat.com – before doing the survey here:

      Thanks chaps! Much appreciated!

      By the way – replies are anonymous, so do say what you like! I won’t hunt you down, etc…

      Thanks all for your feedback, which has been very, very useful. If you haven’t had a chance to do said survey and fancy talking about handbags for 2 minutes then if you could fill it out I’d be really grateful.

      We’ve already incorporated a load of the suggestions into the site (http://www.stripykat.com) and it’s looking much better as a result. Yay!

      And while I’m plugging my wife’s site, become a fan on her Facebook page – https://www.facebook.com/pages/stripykat/22188978982 – and you get a special pressie in a week or two’s time!

      I’ll go back to chatting about diabetes now! ;-)

      Nice site.

      So where are the testing meter cases? As reviewed in your Nano review having a tiny meter but huge carry case for it all sort of defeats the object. There must be a market……….

      Agree there, I think there’s a huge market for test meter cases! Especially ones that are NOT black :)

      @seasiderdave – thanks Dave! :-)

      There *is* a market for cool cases; but the problem is that you can buy a pencil case (which is what I use for carting about my kit) that’s mass produced in China for £2. To make it worthwhile to make a unique handmade one, @Katie has to charge £15 or so and people don’t want to pay that much more (perhaps understandably!)

      Katie’s thought about doing pump and meter cases and other diabetic kit (we even have a brand and domain names registered, etc.!) but it just doesn’t quite seem worth it… :-(

      @tim What about individual commissions? ;)

      But all the kit gets mixed up together in a pencil case! Which is annoying when you’re scrabbling around looking for the meter and a lid comes off a sharp and stabs you in the finger (hence why I use the normal cases again lol). At least it saves the trouble of using the finger pricker :)
