I’ll be playing the baritone horn with 70 other members of Magull Wind Orchestra at the Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral this Saturday 21 July. I’m quite rubbish, but the rest of them are brilliant and drown me out nicely.

If anyone is in the area, it should be a great night. We’ve got a pretty varied programmeThe Lion King, Pirates of the Caribbean and the Beatles, through to Jerusalem and some specially commissioned wind orchestra pieces.

    Saturday 21 July, 7.30pm (doors open 7pm)
    Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral
Tickets £5/£3 concessions available on the door

How did it go, by the way?

Oh, and if we are shameless plugging – why not go over and “like” stripykat on Facebook http://www.facebook.com/stripykat – you all know you want to! :-D

It was brilliant, I loved it. Can’t believe it took me this long to start playing an instrument. The local paper gave us a great review too http://www.champnews.com/newsstory.aspx?story=3028968
