Hello Tim, Allison & “Others,”
It’s always interesting finding out a bit about how those folks with type 1 diabetes live in other locations. Sometimes, the arrogance of Americans, have us believing that there is no “other” other than ourselves. Pretty pathetic if you think about it for more than a New York minute.
I’ve had diabetes for 51 years & counting; 1958, to be exact and have had all manner of experiences with the disease, some of them quite exciting to be honest with you. In fact, I’ve written a memoir about that: JUNK SICK: CONFESSIONS OF AN UNCONTROLLED DIABETIC.
I’d like to know some of what you deal with when dealing with the disease in your neck of the woods. Is it the same bullshit, or different?

Tim, do you use a laptop? If so, keep it on your lap. It works wonders on cold days.

Scotland with no heating in the summer is bad enough, in the winter it must be unbearable! Forget raising funds for diabetes research, I’m on the verge of starting a fundraising drive to buy you a fan heater!
