There are parents of toddlers on CWD email list; I just can’t imagine how difficult it must be for them and have nothing but admiration for them all. I don’t think any age is a good age to get diabetes. Marc had just turned 13 and reading your article Alison, he actually acted like a baby – there were similarities although he wasn’t still eating soil though -thank god!!! He was old enough to understand and that was a big help.

Diabetes is a challenge for everyone who has it and those closest to them, respect to all!

While I love my various nieces and nephews very much (and some of them at least think Uncle Tim is bearable) I can’t imagine the difficulty of looking after a diabetic young ‘un. Maximum respect to mums & dads of diabetic children.
